Megan Suri, the star of Valentines Day (2010), Fresh Off the Boat (2015), Atypical (2017) and The Miseducation of Bindu (2019) joins Season 2 of Netflix’s comedy Never Have I Ever.

Megan (21) will be taking up the role Aneesa, a new Indian student at Sherman Oaks High. Megan played the title role on The MisEducation of Bindu, a 2019 American independent comedy film directed by Prarthana Mohan.
In the second season, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan continues her lead role as high school student Devi Vishwakumar alongside returning cast Poorna Jagannathan, Richa Moorjani, Jaren Lewison, Darren Barnet, Lee Rodriguez and Ramona Young.

The show portrays the complicated life of a modern-day first-generation Indian American teenage girl dealing with issues of family, sexuality and high school. Devi, played by Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, is a 15-year-old from Sherman Oaks who wants to change her social status after a horrible year that included losing her father and being confined to a wheelchair for three months.
The show is produced by Universal Television, 3 Arts Entertainment, Original Langster and Kaling International. The filming of the second season is going well despite the pandemic and is expected for release in April 2021.
