The Fall of Colours
By Kumar Punithavel

It is that time of the year
Full of colours far and near
Leaves flutter a while and tumble down
Laying a colourful carpet of leaves on the ground.
They lie on the ground to rest
Forth coming snow will cover it white and rest
Leaves that fluttered in the sky
Rests on the ground unable to fly.
The tree will be barren and bare
Cold winter blowing in the air
Very soon the trees will sprout again
With new green leaves it regain.
Likewise, the world will be normal
Life again restored to be formal
Virus gone and families together
Children flutter playing together
